Windows Engineer - DV Cleared

Excellent, contract opportunity for an experienced Windows Engineer to join a Digital Excellence function providing critical IT services across highly secure environments. Due to the restricted nature of the network and the requirements of the project, candidates must hold active Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance. The Role: As a Windows Engineer, you will provide operational BAU support, administration, configuration and technical expertise across Infrastructure and Workplace Windows environments within Restricted Secret and above networks. You will operate as a Tier 2/Tier 3 technical resource, supporting incident resolution, maintenance, patching, monitoring and continuous improvement while ensuring services remain secure, resilient, and compliant. Key Responsibilities: Provide BAU operational support, administration and configuration management across Windows Infrastructure and Workplace environments. Plan and coordinate Windows maintenance and patching activities with minimal disruption to operations. Implement approved changes across restricted Windows environments. Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for Windows-related incidents, including investigation, remediation and incident response. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs, escalating where appropriate. Support high-severity incident management and coordinate with Incident and Technical Managers.
