Astute''s Renewables Team is partnering with a renewable energy company to recruit a Wind Turbine Service Technician for its site in East Scotland on a 10-month fixed-term contract, with potential future opportunities available.The Wind Turbine Service Technician role comes with a salary up to 45k plus overtime opportunities, and an on-call allowance.If you''re a experienced Wind Turbine Technician looking to join a company that values teamwork, safety, and renewable energy, then submit your CV to apply today.Responsibilities and duties of the Wind Turbine Service Technician roleReporting to the Lead Technician you will:Carry out planned maintenance and servicing on Siemens 2.3 and Nordex N80 wind turbines.Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.Complete maintenance paperwork and service records accurately.Support the wider team to improve turbine performance and reliability.Take part in the on-call rota for breakdown response, including weekends and out-of-hours work.Follow all health and safety procedures and site rules.Maintain PPE, tools, and company vehicles to a high standard.Assist with Risk Assessments and Method Statements when required.Communicate effectively with the control room and site management teams.
