Office Based Preferred Remote Considered for the Right Person Redfox Executive Selection has been asked to find an experienced Wholesale Fresh Produce Sales Professional for a well-established and highly respected UK fresh produce importer, packer and distributor. And we re looking for a proper produce person. Someone who understands the wholesale market. Someone who knows their apples from their avocados their citrus from their salads. And, most importantly, someone who knows how to sell. Our client operates across an extensive fresh produce portfolio including: Top Fruit Citrus Stone Fruit Exotics Melons Grapes Vegetables Salads They are now looking for an experienced commercial individual who can help drive wholesale sales across the complete product range. THE ROLE This is a hands-on commercial position. You ll be speaking with existing customers, developing new relationships, spotting opportunities, understanding what s moving in the market and turning available product into profitable sales. You ll need to understand the pace of fresh produce. Markets move. Prices move. Product moves. And sometimes you need to make a decision and get a deal done before somebody else does. We re therefore looking for someone who is commercial, energetic, well connected and comfortable building business over the phone as well as face to face.
