This team provides solutions to financial services, investment firms, regulated and non-regulated entities, from entrepreneurial ventures to established market leaders within financial services. You will provide compliance, regulatory and advisory support to clients to meet key regulatory objectives and commitments.
Key responsibilities of the Compliance Manager;
Provide advisory support to client queries related to MiFID, AIFMDManage multiple regulatory projects, developing solutions to ensure consistent and valued interpretation of the key legislationKeeping updated with changes in legislation and guidance are drafted and published impacted AIFMD and MiFID firmsAssist in the preparation of marketing material, reviewing financial promotionsAssist in developing compliance policies and proceduresClient interaction; meeting clients and regulators, managing relationshipsEnsuring quality and timely advice is delivered to clients; andSupporting junior members of the team with both technical insights and motivation
Experience required of the Compliance Manager;
Prior experience in an investment firm or professional service, or law firm supporting the investment management industry;Knowledge of investment regulations (MiFID, AIFMD, MAR etc.)Understanding of investment firm governance and processes;Knowledge of financial, regulatory or audit reporting;A work ethic that provides a ‘can do’ attitude;An ability to build trusted relationships;Good written communication skills and attention to detail;An ability to quickly learn new skills and knowledge on the job; andStrong organisational, verbal communication and time management.
