Responsibilities as a Wholesale Fashion Merchandiser: Communication with buyers regarding proposed and existing orders. This involves sample requests, amendments, approvals, price negotiations, quantities, order confirmations and purchase orders. Communication with factories in relation to samples, dispatch dates, prices, amendments, approvals, purchase orders, production space and production timelines. Raising and updating-purchase orders. Updating the critical path with new order confirmations and amendments. Managing cost trackers and-price negotiations. Creating and maintaining internal spreadsheets and-documents. Collating, tracking, and organising samples to ensure they reconcile with the tech packs. Supporting the design department with previous sales order data.
