Aspire People are recruiting on behalf of a leading training provider in Cardiff for a Welsh Development Manager to provide maternity cover for an exciting 12-month opportunity.This role offers the chance to lead Welsh language initiatives across a large education network, influencing strategy, supporting quality improvement and helping learners and staff embrace the Welsh language and culture. It would suit an experienced Welsh development professional, quality improvement practitioner, trainer, lecturer or project manager with a strong understanding of Welsh language legislation and the education sector.The Role Lead the implementation of Welsh Language Strategy and Welsh Language Policy objectives. Promote the development of Welsh language skills and Welsh culture across the organisation. Coordinate Welsh language activities and initiatives with staff, learners and partner providers. Deliver training, support and guidance to colleagues on embedding Welsh throughout the learner journey. Develop innovative projects and engagement activities to encourage the use of Welsh.
