Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator Location: The Rotherham Hospice, with some work in the community or partner venuesSalary: £26,924 - £30,375 per annumHours of Work: 37.5 hours per week - 5 days Monday to SundayAbout UsRotherham Hospice is a charity dedicated to the people of Rotherham, offering specialist palliative and end of life care to our community since 1996.About the RoleThe Activities Coordinator works as part of the Wellbeing and Activities service to plan and deliver meaningful activities that enhance quality of life for patients and families. The post holder organises and facilitates individual and group activities across the Inpatient Unit and Supportive Care services, and, where appropriate, in other hospice or community settings. This includes social, creative, recreational and seasonal activities that reflect people s interests, abilities and cultural backgrounds.The Activities Coordinator works closely with the Wellbeing and Activities Manager, Complementary Therapist, Hairdresser, volunteers and clinical teams to make sure activities are well co-ordinated, safe and person centred, in line with Living Life s Wishes.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning and co-ordinating activities Work with the Wellbeing and Activities Manager, clinical staff, patients and families to plan a varied programme of activities.Prepare simple monthly or weekly activity schedules and ensure they are communicated clearly to patients, families and staff.Adapt activities to meet the needs ..... full job details .....
