      <description>Location: London | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | Harris Hill is working in partnership with a leading organisation supporting people living with HIV to recruit a Welfare Rights Advisor. This is an opportunity to join a purpose-driven team providing practical advice, advocacy and support to help people navigate complex welfare and benefits systems and maximise their income.    The role is predominantly remote, with the successful candidate required to attend HIV clinics across central London one day per week, usually for a half day, as part of an outreach-based service. The position is offered on a one-year contract, with the possibility of extension, and can be full-time or part-time, with a minimum commitment of two days per week.   As Welfare Rights Advisor, you will provide high-quality one-to-one welfare benefits advice and support to clients, assessing their needs, developing action plans and helping them access the financial support to which they are entitled. You will support clients with welfare forms, advocacy and tribunal attendance where required, while also making appropriate referrals to other specialist services.
