Position: Welding TechnicianLocation: BedfordSalary: 36,000 - 40,000Hours: Monday - Thursday, 15:00-01:00 (Evening shift)Welding Technician required to join a well-established Engineering company that is based in the Bedford area.This role is a high-end production welding role, requiring some repetitive work whilst maintaining the high quality required by our industry. The Welding Technician role will be responsible for completing fabricate assemblies to a high standard ready for painting.Welding Technician Job OverviewHigh-end production welding using a variety of TIG and MIG welding equipmentFollowing drawings to produce weld assemblies to a high standardPreparing products for painting, ensuring metal components are clean and scratch freeResponsibility for maintaining stock of welding suppliesMaintain a clean and safe working environmentWelding Technician Job Requirements Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MIG etc.) in mild steel, aluminium and stainless steelAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsBe able to identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identifiedPerform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety proceduresProficient in the use of hand tools, including angle grinders, squares, calipers etc.Welding Technician Salary and Benefits Salary - 36,000 - 40,000 (DOE)15:00 - 01:00 Evening Shift (Monday - Thursday)25 days annual leave + bank holidaysPension scheme ..... full job details .....
