Responsibilities: Develop, qualify, and maintain Welding Procedure Specifications to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry requirements. Provide welding engineering support during Technical Review and Production Planning activities, ensuring efficient and effective project execution. Manage welding competency and qualification matrices, ensuring personnel are appropriately trained, qualified, and assigned to tasks aligned with their capabilities. Conduct audits of subcontractor welding activities to verify compliance with approved procedures, quality standards, and contractual requirements. Carry out routine Health, Safety, Environmental, and compliance inspections, promoting a safe and compliant working environment. Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies, to enhance quality, efficiency, and operational performance. Develop, monitor, and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), undertaking root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to address non-conformances and performance issues.
