We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welding Engineer to join an established engineering business based in Wolverhampton.

The role will focus on welding engineering, automated welding systems and robotic programming, supporting technically complex engineering and manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and develop MIG and TIG welding processes
• Programming and optimisation of automated/robotic welding systems
• Robot programming, setup and troubleshooting
• Develop and improve welding processes and parameters
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and engineering teams
• Support welding trials, testing and continuous improvement activities
• Troubleshoot welding and automation issues

Experience Required

• Strong background in Welding Engineering
• MIG and TIG welding knowledge
• Experience with automated/robotic welding
• Robot programming experience
• Understanding of welding processes, parameters and quality
• Background within Automotive, Automation, Nuclear, Manufacturing or a similar engineering environment
