Welding and Quality EngineerFull-Time Permanent 18.00 - 20.00 per hour (DOE)We''re recruiting for an experienced Welding and Quality Engineer to join a growing sheet metal and fabrication manufacturer supplying high-quality components and assemblies to leading OEM customers in the construction, agricultural, and off-highway vehicle sectors.This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in welding, quality assurance, customer projects, and continuous improvement within a modern manufacturing environment.What you''ll be doing:Developing and maintaining welding procedures and qualificationsSupporting welder training and resolving welding-related quality issuesPreparing and managing PPAP submissionsCreating and maintaining Control Plans, PFMEAs, Process Flows, and Inspection PlansInvestigating non-conformances and leading corrective actionsManaging customer and supplier quality concernsSupporting audits and continuous improvement initiativesWorking closely with production, engineering, and inspection teamsSupporting new product introductions and manufacturing improvementsWhat we''re looking for:Experience within fabrication, sheet metal, or heavy engineeringStrong knowledge of MIG/MAG welding processesPPAP and quality documentation experienceAbility to read engineering drawings and weld symbolsExperience with root cause analysis and corrective actionsStrong communication skills and a customer-focused approachDesirable:IWE, IWT, or CSWIP qualificationsKnowledge of ISO 3834 ..... full job details .....
