Welder/Fabricator

Due to continued growth and a consistently busy workload, we are looking to recruit experienced Welder/Fabricators to join a well-established marine engineering business.We are seeking versatile individuals who are equally comfortable with both fabrication and welding and can contribute across a variety of workshop and site-based projects.Key ResponsibilitiesFabrication of steel structures and components from engineering drawingsWelding using a range of processes, including: FCAWMMATIGWorking to quality and productivity targetsCarrying out fabrication and welding duties with minimal supervisionSupporting the wider production team as requiredWorking on both planned and reactive projects across workshop and site environmentsRequirementsProven experience as a Welder/FabricatorStrong fabrication skills with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsExperience with FCAW, MMA and TIG welding processesGood all-round welding ability across a range of materials and thicknessesAbility to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environmentFull UK driving licenceSuitable BackgroundsCandidates from a range of heavy industrial sectors will be considered, including:MarineOffshoreOil and GasHeavy EngineeringStructural SteelIndustrial ManufacturingThe key requirement is that candidates are genuine all-rounders with strong fabrication skills and solid welding experience.Package 20.50 - 26.50 per hour (Umbrella/CIS)PAYE option availableOvertime availableImmediate starts for ..... full job details .....
