Key Responsibilities: Weld and fabricate commercial vehicle bodies and chassis using MIG and TIG processes Assemble and weld components and major fabrications from engineering drawings Work with mild steel and stainless steel (1.6mm to 6mm thickness) Read and interpret engineering drawings and ISO quality standards Mark out, fettle, clean and finish parts to meet paint and finishing requirements Pressure and leak test fabrications as required Maintain high standards of self-inspection and reject substandard work Complete required work records and paperwork accurately and timely Follow all health & safety procedures in accordance with company policy and risk assessments Maintain a clean and organized work environment Cross-train to gain full competency across multiple fabrication tasks Cont...
