The standard rate for this role is 25.50ph Umb or 18.79 PAYE (inside IR35) with overtime enhancements after 37 hrs. The role is expected to be Monday to Friday days, 37 hours per week with occasional overtime. This will be approx 3-5 months training at Doncaster with Mileage paid for travel to this depot (30p per mile) and 2 hours additional travel time paid , the role will then move to a new facility being built in Barton under Needwood (Burton upon Trent, DE13 area) where there will be the opportunity to go permanent after a short while. Position Summary: To carry out Welding work on Rolling Stock Wheelsets or Bogies and related components (Stick mainly, TIG/Mig on occasions) Candidates must have experience in MMA (Stick) welding and exposure to Mig/Tig would be an advantage Candidates must also be able to pass a Medical, Drug and Alcohol screening.
