The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating complex parts and sub-assemblies, working from detailed technical drawings and ensuring all work is completed to the required quality and production standards.Key Responsibilities: Interpret and accurately understand detailed technical drawing packs and welding symbols.Cut and weld metal products to fabricate parts and sub-assemblies.Set up and safely operate MIG and TIG welding equipment.Weld mainly aluminium thin-gauge material, as well as mild steel and stainless steel.Assemble parts and structures by accurately aligning and joining components through welding.Fabricate complex builds and designs using multi-level Bills of Materials (BoMs).Prepare finished products by cleaning and ensuring they are ready for painting.Use inspection and measuring equipment, including micrometers and vernier gauges.Complete required documentation and ensure work is manufactured in accordance with drawings and specifications.
