Welder 17.00 per hour Highbridge Full-timePertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Highbridge.Working as part of a skilled workshop team, you will be involved in the fabrication and welding of components used within industrial equipment. This is a varied, hands-on position offering the opportunity to work on a range of projects within a busy manufacturing environment.The RoleCarrying out MIG and/or TIG welding on mild steel and other materialsFabricating and welding components for industrial equipmentWorking from engineering drawings and technical specificationsMeasuring, cutting, preparing and fitting materials prior to weldingEnsuring completed welds meet the required quality standardsInspecting finished work and identifying any defects or areas requiring adjustmentUsing a range of workshop tools and fabrication equipmentWorking alongside other members of the engineering team to meet production requirementsMaintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop environmentFollowing all relevant health and safety proceduresWhat We''re Looking ForPrevious experience working as a Welder or Welder/FabricatorGood experience with MIG and/or TIG weldingAbility to read and work from engineering drawingsPrevious fabrication experienceGood attention to detail and pride in the quality of your workReliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a teamComfortable working in a busy workshop ..... full job details .....
