The successful candidate will have a strong fabrication and welding background, experience working with mild steel, and the ability to work to a high standard in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.MIG Welder2-Month Contract (Potential to Extend)Monday to FridayNottinghamMIG WelderJob Description • Carry out MIG welding on mild steel components to engineering specifications• Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols• Assemble and weld fabricated parts to a high standard of quality• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and dimensional requirements• Perform basic fabrication tasks where required• Maintain a safe and organised working environment in line with health and safety procedures• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to meet production deadlines• Carry out routine maintenance and care of welding equipment• Identify and report any quality or production issues promptly• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing teamMIG WelderEssential Experience / Skills / Qualifications • ..... full job details .....
