Duties of a MIG Welder: MIG weld mainly mild steel components to engineering drawings and specifications.Set and operate MIG welding equipment and associated tools.Complete assembly and general fabrication duties including cutting, grinding, drilling and deburring.Read and interpret engineering drawings and use measuring equipment to ensure accuracy.Inspect finished welds and components to meet quality standards.Identify and report faults, supporting troubleshooting where required.Work to production deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and Health and Safety.
