      <description>Location: Southampton | Salary: 25.62-25.62 Hourly | Type: Contract | We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to support refinery operations. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading company and be part of a new dynamic workshop team.Key ResponsibilitiesWeld ferrous and non-ferrous pipework in support of pipe fabrication activities worked from isometric drawings.Produce butt welds and fillet welds using TIG and MMA welding processes, also able to use MIG for supports / steelwork.Carry out welding in accordance with approved site Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and site standards.Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area in compliance with UK health and safety regulations.RequirementsProven experience welding Ferrous and Non Ferrous pipework within the oil and gas or heavy industrial sectors e.g. refining, petrochemical, nuclear, shipbuilding.Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings, WPS, and welding documentationQualified to ISO 9606 standards, including but not limited to Butt weld -6G position (TIG / MMA) in carbon steel and (TIG) in stainless steel.Valid welder coding to ISO 9606-1 for relevant processes (TIG and / or MMA), with supporting procedure qualifications (ISO 15614).Strong commitment to safety,...</description>
