You will be joining a well established manufacturing business based in Daventry. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled MIG Welder looking for a varied, hands-on role within a growing manufacturing environment. Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8am-4:30pm, with a 3:30pm finish on Fridays Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire Salary: -38,000 Responsibilities: Carry out MIG welding on a range of steel fabrications, including generator fuel tank base frames and other generator components. Read and work accurately from engineering and fabrication drawings. Carry out fabrication, repair and modification work where required. Prepare fabricated steel components ready for painting and finishing. Undertake sanding, cleaning, masking and other preparation activities. Carry out industrial painting and finishing of fabricated steel components. Inspect completed welding, fabrication and finishing work to ensure it meets the required quality standards.
