      <description>Location: Seattle | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | Welder    $26 - $36 per hour + Overtime + Training + Career Progression + Benefits   About the Opportunity   We are looking for an experienced  Welder  with a background in heavy industrial, construction, or plant equipment to carry out welding, fabrication, repair, and maintenance work on a wide variety of machinery and structural components. You will be an integral part of a skilled team, supporting customers across the region and ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards.        Responsibilities    Carrying out MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on heavy construction equipment, structural steel, crushing machinery, excavators, material handlers, and associated components.  Performing fabrication, repair, and reinforcement work to damaged or worn equipment and structures.  Working in a field-based role across a large regional territory, with regular independent travel and occasional overnight stays.  Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications to ensure accurate repairs and fabrication.
