Welder / Fitter

Pipe Welder/Fitter – Short term project work - £25 an hour outside

 Experience Required

• Site experience FMCG/CDM environments
• Experience working with large, crimped pipework.
• Cutting, threading, bending, and joining pipes
• Reading and interpreting piping isometrics, blueprints, and schematics
• Installing and aligning pipes for steam, water, gas, and industrial systems
• Working with carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, PVC, HDPE, and other materials
• Installing valves, flanges, gaskets, supports, and hangers.
• Hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing
• System flushes and leak checks
• Diagnosing flow issues, vibrations, or misalignment
• Repairing or replacing worn or failed components
• Coordinating with welders, engineers, riggers, and project managers
• Clear documentation and reporting
• Working to tight schedules
• Understanding job sequencing and site productivity demands
• Making real-time adjustments during installation
• Adapting to unexpected layout changes
