Welder / Finisher (Day or Night Shift)

Location: Ely (CB7)Duration: PermanentHours: 37.5 hours, 7:30am - 5:15pm Monday to Wednesday with a 4:45pm finish on Thursday (Day shift) or 6pm - 6:30am Monday to Wed (Night shift)Salary: -15 - -20 per hour dependent on experience with a 25% uplift for night shiftJob Reference: 36240Our client, a well-established precision engineering and manufacturing company based in Ely, are looking for experienced TIG Welders/Finishers to join their fabrication team. Permanent opportunities are available on both day and night shifts.Responsibilities- TIG weld stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium and similar materials to a high standard (1-3mm thickness)- MIG welders with strong experience and a willingness to train in TIG are also encouraged to apply- Weld box section frames and fabricated assemblies to tight tolerances- Dress and finish welded components using hand and power tools- Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions- Ensure work meets quality standards and production targets- Support fabrication and assist with general sheet metal work where requiredRequirements- Proven welding and fabrication experience within a manufacturing environment- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings- High attention to detail with excellent finishing skills- Able to work independently and as part of a team- Reliable, punctual and committed to producing quality work- Experience within a quality-driven environment is advantageousPlease contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below!
