Role Purpose To fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components and structures to precise engineering specifications, delivering high-quality work that meets safety and project deadlines. Key Responsibilities Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel (mainly light gauge 1-3mm). Carry out MIG welding as required. Support the move towards laser welding (training provided if needed). Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts, frames, and structures from engineering drawings. Use fabrication machinery, hand tools, and measuring equipment. Carry out cutting, grinding, and finishing to high standards. Check and inspect work, ensuring accuracy and quality. Book work orders using the company''s computerised system. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following HandS and quality standards. Work flexibly on a variety of projects typical of a subcontract environment. Skills and Experience Strong TIG welding skills (stainless, mild steel, aluminium - light gauge).
