Welder Fabricator (trainee or experienced)

is recruiting on behalf of our client based in Leicester, we are looking for a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join their Metal Shop team. Job Description: As a Fabricator, you will play a key role within a close-knit, highly skilled, and fast-paced team, producing a range of fabrications from aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel. Your responsibilities will predominantly include working from job sheets and drawings to fabricate bespoke metal products to a very high standard. Key Responsibilities: Working from job sheets and drawings to produce a range of products and fabrications from aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel Fabrication of bespoke requirements to a very high standard Interpreting engineering drawings and job sheets to accurately execute fabrication projects Usage of machines such as pillar drills, circular saws, band saws, guillotines, and folders Using a range of hand and electrical tools Conducting checks on fabricated components to identify and rectify any defects or inconsistencies Collaborating with the engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly Working to strict health and safety guidelines and procedures Requirements: A good level of experience in fabrication Great attention to detail Positive, can-do attitude Strong and enthusiastic Friendly, with a good sense of humour Ability to deal with high pressure and ..... full job details .....
