This is a hands-on fabrication role working with sheet metal and steel sections throughout the full production process, from measuring and cutting through to folding, welding and final fitting. You will work with a range of machinery and tools to produce high-quality components and equipment, with a strong focus on accuracy, quality and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Carry out the full sheet metal fabrication process, including measuring, cutting, folding, welding and fitting. Fabricate steel sheet and sections ranging from 1mm to 10mm thickness. Operate machinery including guillotines and press brakes. Cut and fold metal to manufacture components and structures. Carry out soundproofing work on units. Strip generator components from containers and fabricate replacement parts where required. Use plasma and flame cutting techniques.
