MIG Welder Fabricator Location: Saxmundham, East Suffolk (own transport required due to rural location)Pay: £15.50-£17.00 per hour (DOE)Job type: Full-time, PermanentHours: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week (07:30-16:30)HRGO Recruitment is working with a well-established, family-run engineering fabrication business supplying high-quality, bespoke metalwork and engineered solutions to the agricultural sector. Due to continued growth, they''re looking to add a skilled MIG Welder Fabricator to their workshop team.This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in accurate fabrication, tidy welds, and building to drawing.Key responsibilitiesFabricate metal components: cutting, shaping, drilling and assembling partsMIG welding on a range of metals to a high standardWork from engineering drawings / blueprints and job specificationsMechanical fitting and assembly of fabricated components (accurate alignment, finishing, fit-up)Inspect and check finished work for quality and accuracyUse workshop machinery and tools safely and correctlyMaintain a clean and safe working environment, following HandS proceduresSkills and experience (essential)Proven experience in fabrication and welding in a workshop/engineering environmentConfident with: MIG welding (approx. 2-10mm)Strong mechanical fitting skills and attention to detailAble to read and interpret technical drawingsReliable, self-motivated, and able to work as part of a teamCommitment to health and safetyOwn transport due to ..... full job details .....
