This role involves working on fabrication and welding projects both in Leicester workshop and at client sites, primarily food manufacturing facilities The position requires flexibility, as there will be travel and overnight stays for site projects. As a Welder Fabricator you will be responsible for:Perform fabrication and welding tasks in the workshop and on-site, using various welding techniques (MIG and TIG to construct, repair, or modify metal structures, machinery, and components.Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure accurate welding and fabrication.Produce high-quality welds and fabrication work, adhering to industry standards and client requirements.Work on a variety of materials, particularly stainless steel, mild steel, and other metals used in food manufacturing environments.
