Welder Fabricator

We are currently recruiting for a Welder Fabricator for a company based in Washington.

Key responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Measure, mark, cut, prepare, and fabricate metal components using appropriate workshop equipment.
• Perform MIG welding to a high standard.
• Assemble fabricated parts and structures accurately.
• Inspect completed welds and fabricated components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Carry out grinding, finishing, and dressing of welds where required.
• Ensure all work is completed within agreed production timescales.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Follow company health and safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Report equipment faults, material shortages, or quality concerns promptly.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.
