Key Responsibilities of the Welder Fabricator Read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings to accurately fabricate components to specification. Measure, mark out, cut, bend and assemble metal materials using a range of fabrication tools and equipment. Check drawings, specifications and required parts before starting work to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Fabricate, weld and construct metal components using mild steel, Zintec and galvanised sheet materials. Grind, finish and inspect completed products, carrying out quality checks to maintain high manufacturing standards.
