Welder / Fabricator

A rapidly expanding company outside of Colchester, Essex are currently recruiting for a Welder / Fabricator to join their team.

This is a temporary - permanent position paying between -13 - -16 per hour, depending upon experience.

Hours of work:

• Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

What does the position entail:

• As a Welder / Fabricator, you will be required to set up and operate welding machinery
• MIG weld sheet steel (1mm - 30mm thickness)
• Cut steel using a band saw
• Carry out grinding and drilling as required
• Work from and interpret technical drawings

Candidate requirements:

• Proficient user of fabrication machinery
• Apprenticeship, NVQ, Diploma or similar within Welding / Fabrication
• Due to location, you will have your own transport
• Must be able to read from technical drawings
