Welder / Fabricator

Welder / Fabricator required to join a leading subcontract manufacturing specialist company that is based in the Milton Keynes area. The successful candidate will have experience with Mig / Tig welding and ideally worked with Mild steel and Stainless steels.

• Carry out MIG, TIG, on a wide range of materials (e.g., mild steel, stainless steel)
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Work closely with the laser cutting, CNC machining, and turning teams to ensure components are fabricated and assembled to tolerance.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure all welded and fabricated products meet required standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with company H&S policies.
• Assist with continuous improvement activities to increase efficiency and product quality.

• Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Competent in MIG and TIG welding (laser welding advantageous).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Knowledge of workshop health & safety standards.
• Based within a commutable distance of Milton Keynes

• Salary - -14 - -15.50 per hour (DOE)
