Welder Fabricator

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company for a Welder/Fabricator to join their workshop team.

This role involves working on a range of fabrication projects, both in the workshop and occasionally on-site, producing high-quality structural steel and sheet metal components from technical drawings. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

• Fabricate structural steel and sheet metal components from engineering drawings

• Carry out MIG and TIG welding to a high standard

• Operate workshop machinery including saws, guillotines, rollers, drills, and grinders

• Ensure all work meets required quality, safety, and project specifications

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet project deadlines

• Maintain safe working practices and follow all health & safety procedures

• Support both workshop and occasional site-based fabrication work where required

Essential

• 3+ years MIG and TIG welding experience

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Desirable

• Forklift licence

• CSCS card

• Strong problem-solving skills

• -34,000 - -38,000 depending on experience
