Fabricator / MIG Welder Location: Oldbury (West Midlands) Pay Rate: £13.00 £16.00 per hour Start Date: Immediate (Tuesday) Duration: 12-week temp-to-perm An established manufacturing and engineering firm based in Oldbury is looking for a motivated and reliable Fabricator / MIG Welder to join their production team. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced workshop environment, perfect for someone with a solid background in metal preparation and welding. Key Responsibilities: MIG Welding: Carrying out high-quality MIG welding on various components and structures. Drilling and Grinding: Operating drills and handheld grinders to finish components to a high standard. Material Preparation: Ensuring all parts are prepped, cleaned, and ready for the next stage of the fabrication process. Manual Handling: Moving materials safely around the workshop. General Fabrication: Assisting the wider team with general workshop duties and prep work as required. What We re Looking For: Experience: Proven experience in MIG welding and working within a fabrication or engineering environment is essential. Skillset: Proficiency with power tools, specifically grinders and drills. Reliability: We need someone ready to hit the ground running this coming Tuesday. Technical: Ability to read technical / engineering drawings. Attitude: A "can-do" approach with a sharp eye for detail and safety.
