Welder Fabricator Location: Wallsend, Tyne and Wear Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour Hours: 42.5 hours per week Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30am 5:00pm We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a busy steel stockholding business based in Wallsend. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual looking for stable, full-time work within a well-established company. The Role Working within a busy fabrication workshop, you will be responsible for manufacturing and modifying a range of steel products to customer specifications. You will work with structural and general steel sections, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities MIG welding mild steel components. Fabricating steel products from technical drawings and customer specifications. Cutting, drilling, grinding and preparing steel sections. Measuring and marking materials accurately. Operating workshop machinery and fabrication equipment safely. Inspecting finished work to ensure it meets quality standards. Assisting with general workshop duties and maintaining a clean, safe working environment. Working efficiently to meet production deadlines. The Ideal Candidate Previous experience as a Welder Fabricator is essential. Confident MIG welding mild steel. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
