      <description>Location: Livingston | Salary: &amp;pound;31991 - &amp;pound;39989/annum | Type: Permanent | Welder   | Heavy Engineering   | Livingston | Permanent | -39,989 (inc SA)   We are recruiting a  time-served Welder  to join a well-established heavy manufacturing site in Livingston.  This is a  hands-on, site-based role , focused on welding and fabrication repairs to large industrial plant and equipment. It will suit someone from a heavy engineering, maintenance or production environment who is comfortable working under pressure.   The role    Sub Arc welding repairs on large plant and tooling  Fabrication and repair work from drawings  Working with materials including mild steel, stainless, Inconel and high carbon steels  Burning and lancing as required  Pre-heating using torches or furnaces    What they are looking for    Time-served Welder  Proven Sub Arc welding experience  Strong fabrication and repair background  Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment  Able to read and work from engineering drawings   This is a stable, long-term role within a busy manufacturing site with consistent work and clear pay progression.</description>
