Welder

Welder MMA / MIG / TIG, £21–£25 Per Hour,  Bridge of Allan, Stirling, Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting two experienced welders for a short-term, site-based project working on major infrastructure across Scotland. This role involves structural welding on the underside of bridge structures, requiring proficiency in MMA (Stick), MIG, and TIG welding in safety-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MMA, MIG, and TIG welding on bridge support steel structures
• Work underneath bridge decks in varied site conditions
• Ensure all welding is completed to high structural and safety standards
• Interpret and follow technical drawings and site instructions
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Report any hazards, defects, or incidents immediately

Requirements

• Proven experience in MMA, MIG, and TIG welding
• Experience with structural steelwork or bridge projects (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of health and safety practices
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
