Our client, a leading company in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a skilled Welder to join their team in a permanent role. This is an opportunity to work within a busy but friendly factory environment, ensuring quality control and adhering to robust health and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting and meeting the demands of the weld/fab shop
- Working with aluminium TIG welding
- Conducting MIG and TIG weld work accurately and efficiently to drawings
- Maintaining high standards set by the company
- Ensuring good health and safety practices in line with the BSI 45001 Health & Safety management system
- Promoting and conducting good housekeeping routines
Job Requirements:
- Experience in aluminium TIG welding
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding
- Ability to interpret and work to drawings accurately
- Understanding of health and safety requirements and responsibilities
- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently
- Enthusiastic and willing to be flexible when required
