Welder/Fabricator
Location: Newark-on-Trent area
Pay: From £16.00 to £20.00 per hour - Depending on Experience - (Rate will incrase after 3 Month Probation)

Job Overview
A customer is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their growing team. This position requires a strong background in welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to work across a range of materials including sheet metal. The successful candidate will play a key role in the production of high-quality components and assemblies, working with precision and attention to detail.

Key Duties

• Carrying out TIG and MMA (stick) welding on a variety of materials to meet specifications and quality standards.

• Using hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks including cutting, shaping, and assembling components.

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

• Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality control requirements.

• Collaborating with team members to maintain efficiency and support process improvements.

• Following health and safety standards to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Experience & Skills Required

• Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, with strong proficiency in TIG and MMA (stick) welding.

• Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment when required.

• Experience in sheet metal work and fabrication processes.

• Competence in basic mathematics for accurate measurement and calculation.

• Previous experience in assembly work is advantageous, as is confident use of hand and power tools.
