Welder, Temp to Perm, £21.00 per hour Workshop & Site-Based (CSCS Card Required)

Welder opportunity in Dundee for a temp to perm position with a leading Engineering company. This is an excellent role for any welder looking for the next step in their career, to work part of a team and gain a long term, permanent welding role with great benefits.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in TIG and Stick (MMA) welding
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Valid CSCS card (required for site work)
• Full UK driving licence
• Competent in preparing materials, including cutting metal and pipework (up to 400mm diameter)

Responsibilities

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Carry out TIG and Stick welding to high-quality standards
• Interpret and follow detailed engineering drawings
• Prepare and fabricate metal components, including cutting and fitting
• Weld and assemble pipework and structural components (up to 400mm)
• Work both in a workshop setting and on customer sites as required
