      <description>Location: Oldham | Salary: &amp;pound;39000/annum | Type: Permanent | Welder - MIG &amp; TIG  Oldham -20 per hour  Monday to Friday  37.5 hour week   Are you a Welder who can MIG and TIG Weld, looking for a new opportunity to join a busy manufacturing business in Oldham?   The Role:  Set up and use welding equipment and related machinery safely and correctly Carry out high-quality MIG and TIG welding to the required standards and specifications Carry out welding preparation work including cleaning, grinding, drilling and preparing joints as required Check work for accuracy, quality and compliance with drawings and specifications Work safely with overhead cranes, lifting equipment and mechanical handling equipment where trained and authorised Report defects, drawing issues, material concerns or production problems to the line manager  Suitable Candidate:   Experienced MIG / TIG Welder  Worked within a fabrication or heavy manufacturing environment previously  Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings  Strong practical MIG and TIG Welding skills, including preparation, measuring and finishing work  Strong attention to detail  Reliable and proactive with the ability to work as part of a team</description>
