Hours of WorkMonday to Friday mornings and afternoons rotatingWeek 1: 6am - 2.30pm (finish at 1pm on Fridays)Week 2: 2pm - 10.30pm (finish at 6pm on Fridays) Job RoleWorking with carbon and stainless steel across a range of thicknessesPreparing and setting up welding equipment and surfacesReading and interpreting engineering drawings and welding proceduresCarrying out welding on pipework, plate and critical engineering componentsWorking to high quality standards, with some work subject to NDT inspection such as UT and RTMaintaining welding equipment, consumables and work areasRecording work using the company''s ERP systemWorking to production timescales while maintaining quality standardsSupporting continuous improvement and maintaining good housekeeping and HandS standards Ideal CandidateTime-served Welding apprenticeshipMinimum 5 years'' experience as a coded Welder within an engineering/manufacturing environmentExperience with TIG, MMA and MAG weldingCoded welding experience and qualificationsExperience working with carbon and stainless steelConfident reading and working from engineering drawings and WPSExperience welding pipework, pressure vessels or ..... full job details .....
