Weld Preparation Operative

Location: Lakeside, Redditch
Hours: 7:00am-3:45pm Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-12:00pm Friday (38 hours per week)
Pay: -14.45 per hour, rising to -16.06 per hour after training
Contract: Temp-to-Perm or Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
Reports To: Production Supervisor

We are looking for a Weld Preparation Operative to join our established aerospace manufacturing team in Redditch. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and friendly environment with training, progression opportunities, and a pay increase upon successful completion of training.

• Preparing, polishing and cleaning welded tube assemblies
• Packing and protecting finished components
• Following quality and safety procedures
• Supporting general production duties as required

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Good attention to detail and ability to work to quality standards
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
• Eligible to comply with ITAR regulations
