Weld Lead OperatorLocation: Devizes, WiltshireSalary: 35,000 - 40,000 including shift allowance Job Type: Permanent, Full TimeHours: 39 hours per week, rotating shiftsWe are recruiting for an experienced Weld Lead Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Devizes.This role would suit an experienced Welder / Welding Operator / Lead Operator who has worked within a manufacturing environment and is ready to take on additional responsibility supporting a production team.The RoleAs Weld Lead Operator, you will combine hands-on welding with responsibility for supporting the day-to-day running of the department.Key responsibilities include:Carrying out manual and semi-automatic welding to drawings and specifications.Supporting daily production, workflow and team requirements.Providing technical guidance and training to other welding operators.Visually inspecting welds to the required quality standards.Ensuring welding equipment, qualifications and calibration are maintained.Completing production and inspection documentation and updating the ERP system.Supporting internal, customer and NADCAP welding audits.Assisting with non-conformance investigations and continuous improvement.Carrying out machine and equipment checks and reporting faults.Supporting the Production Supervisor and providing cover when required.Promoting high standards of quality, health and safety and housekeeping.Working hours Earlies: 6.00am to 2.30pm Monday to Thursday and 6.00am to 11.00am ..... full job details .....
