Weld inspector - CornwallConstruction - Civil engineering£(Apply online only) per day, depending on experience and qualifications.This is a 4 week temporary contract and there may be another 4 week phase to return to shortly after.A great opportunity to start a temporary weld inspector role in North Cornwall. You will be working on a very unique project for a global civil engineering contractor. Inspecting welds, reporting findings and delegating work to a team of 2 welders.Day to day: Visual inspection of welds.Dye penetration inspection of welds.Working at heights.Working with stainless steel.Working within a welding team.Reporting findings.Delegating work.Site safety, helping to maintain a safe working environment. Requirements: Must have a CSCS card.PCN LEVEL 2 (Essential)CSWIP 3.1 (Non essential but preferable)Must have previous experience in welding and inspection.Must work well within a team.Must be comfortable to work at heights.Driving licence (Non essential but preferable due to job location)Professional at all times.Good work ethic.Good timekeeping.
