Location: Kirkby Thore - CA10 1XU
Shifts: 06:00 - 18:00 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
Pay Rate: £13.27 per hour

We are looking for a Weighbridge Operative to join our team working on the British Gypsum contract in Kirkby Thore. This role is rare temp to perm opportunity for someone who is looking to join a close-knit team on a long-term basis.

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding andamp; Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weigh in and out all vehicles, recording both weights ensuring there are no variances that are outside the tolerance.
• Ensure that all personnel entering site are authorised and have been inducted.
• Ensure that appropriate paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Understand and comply with all relevant company rules, agreements, policies, procedures and with all relevant legislative requirements and codes of practice.
• Act in a professional manner, ensure good working relationships are always maintained and promote a good image of the company

As a Weighbridge Operative, you will be the very first face every visitor meets, because of this we are looking for someone with the following:

• Previous experience of working in a logistics environment preferred but not essential, full training will be given.
