Weekend Shift Engineer

Job Title: Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer.-

Location: Tyne & Wear

Salary: -48,000 PA +

TBA 6am-6pm- (flexible for any other day)

Job Description:
As a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability and minimising downtime across the site. Key responsibilities include:

• Responding quickly to breakdowns and resolving faults efficiently

• Following and improving preventative maintenance schedules

• Completing planned maintenance (PPM) activities in line with annual plans

• Recording and completing follow-up maintenance work

• Supporting root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions

• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

• Assisting with engineering projects when required

• Improving line efficiency, quality, and reducing waste through effective maintenance

Skills & Experience:
To succeed as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, you should have:

• Time Served Apprenticeship

• Multi Skilled, mechanical bias

• Experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment

• Strong fault-finding skills on electrical and automated systems

• Welding, fabrication, turning, milling

• A methodical and proactive approach to problem solving
