Weekend Hygiene Supervisor

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Hygiene Supervisor to join an established food production cleaning business based in Livingston on a permanent part-time basis.

Our client has been operating for over 40 years, providing specialist cleaning and hygiene services to the food, drink and pharmaceutical sectors across the UK.

As a Hygiene Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and participating in end-of-run plant cleaning of food production lines
• Ensuring all work is completed to schedule and meets hygiene, quality and safety requirements
• Communicating with key client personnel and reporting any issues that may impact the clean
• Maintaining and updating documents, procedures and ensuring correct equipment and materials are available
• Ensuring the hygiene team are fully trained in health and safety, hygiene and environmental requirements

The ideal Hygiene Supervisor will have:

• Previous supervisory and cleaning experience, ideally within a food production environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive, approachable manner
• A flexible and adaptable approach to changing client requirements
• A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
• High standards of work ethic and a keen eye for detail
