About the roleWe are looking for a talented front-end/back-end web developer that has a proven track record of creating great websites, a good all rounder.An individual who gets excited by the latest web trends and technologies and knows the best way to leverage these for client projects.You’ll work with our web designers and web developers, transforming designs ensuring that the front-end and back-end experience across all our projects just blows our clients away!Good banter and the willingness to laugh (often at rubbish jokes) are desirable traits but not essential.Essential Skills/Knowledge:HTML5PHP, previous exposure to MVC frameworksStrong WordPress knowledge and themingCSS / SASS / LESSJavascript (jQuery)Any Git / SVN or subversion exposureMobile up / cross platform development and a good understanding of responsive designUnderstanding performance and optimisation – we want stuff to look great but load fast tooAn eye for detail (someone who can understand the designer’s pain).Portfolio of previous workPhotoshop / Sketch to convert designs to codeAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesBeneficial Skills/Knowledge:Gulp/Grunt task automatorsUse of responsive frameworks such as Foundation or BootstrapSEO best practicesKnowledge of multiple CMS – e.g. Magento, UmbracoExperience:Mac literateProven track record in a similar roleMinimum of 2-3 years experience in a fast paced agencyCan-do attitudeAbility to develop a strong working relationship with all colleaguesTo apply for this role, apply online or email a CV ..... full job details .....
